review 1: Jingle All The Way, written by Tom Shay-Zapien, is a wonderfully interactive story book about an adorable little puppy named Jingle who does not have a home or family of his own. Because of this, he hangs out at Pineville Elementary School every day in the hopes of playing with all the kids when the bell rings. When the boys and girls disappear for Christmas break, Jingle finds that the school is empty. Sadly, Jingle falls asleep alone on a cold winter night. Soon afterwards, Jingle awakens to a pleasant surprise that changes his life forever.What made this story so special was that you can buy a stuffed animal dog to go along with the story of Jingle. When you read key phrases from the story, the stuffed animal will respond in a fun and engaging way for little kids. Seein... moreg that Jingle does not have much personality in the story book, it is refreshing to hear the playful stuffed animal because of the interaction it has with the audience. In addition, it adds a unique dimension to the storytelling that makes it entertaining for all ages. With clay-like figurines, the animation illustrations remind adults of classic Christmas movies such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. With a happy ending, this heartwarming story is interactive for any family who enjoys the spirit of Christmas!
review 2: Jingle All The Way is an adorable story about a loveable and obedient puppy named Jingle who does not have a home. Jingle hangs around an elementary school and soon all of the boys and girls begin to disappear. Everyplace becomes empty and Jingle realizes that Christmas break is about to begin. Jingle falls asleep but soon awakens to a pleasant surprise that will change is life forever. Jingle wants nothing more than to have a family of his own. This was a very heartwarming story with a happy ending. The imagery in this book was beautiful and had an old-school feel to it. The illustrations reminded me of classic Christmas movies like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The animations are great and very interactive for the reader. There is a dog that can be bought to go along with the story. This Jingle buddy stuffed animal will respond when you read key phrases from the story. I noticed that Jingle did not have very much personality in the book himself. I think that you would have to buy the interactive stuffed animal in order to add that dimension to the storytelling. less
