With Halloween just days away, it’s time to close the voting for Horror Delve’s Scariest Obscure Supervillain Poll. My own choice would have been for Belarac Marcosa from the classic Werewolf By Night run. I was also a big fan of The Dweller-In-Darkness manipulating his Fear Lords agains Doctor Strange. Rom the Spaceknight’s encounter against The House of Shadows holds a special place in my heart as well. And, although I knew he’d have no chance of winning, I felt the super-creepy Spider-Woman adversary The Needle deserved a spot on this list.
Ultimately, after all the votes were counted, the clear cut winner was the cadaverous Spider-Man foe Carrion. It’s been many years since I read his original story arc in the pages of Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man, but I do remember I enjoyed it. Now I want to go back and read it again.
