review 1: My barely 7 year old is reading this right now. We are laughing out-loud during it. Another reviewer mentions that it is better for older children because of the author's humor. Our 4 year old thinks it is pretty funny too. The story is about the life of a dog and his friends with lots of funny interjections by the author. It has been a great introduction to irony for my son.This was a free download for my nook. I will be looking into buying something from this author to thank him for this hilarious read!
review 2: I love dogs. They are my favorite animals. You can be so attached to them that it hurts when they're sick. Therefore, I always like to read some enjoyable dog stories that are not gloomy. You know, the ones that don't talk about a dog being abused o... morer sick dogs that need to be put to sleep. Instead, I like the ones that are funny. Well this story is really fun to read. It's an easy read. The author has a good sense of humor.Since it's a children's book, it's not complete if there's no pictures. Earlier in this book, the author mentioned that he couldn't draw and readers are not supposed to complain about it. However, his illustration is really simple, cute, and very expressive. The illustrations just added to the humor of this book. Thus book lovers, if you want to getaway from heavy readings, you need to pick up this book and enjoy it with a glass of cold milk and a pack of oreo cookies. less
