review 1: I read an ARC of this book as a member of the Fearless Fifteeners. Peter, Eliza, Andy, and Anita are four teens with limited overlap in their social circles. When the asteroid nicknamed Ardor threatens humanity with a 66.6% chance of total destruction, everything changes. The teens’ paths cross in surprising and touching ways. This is a good look at the question of what makes life worth living through the eyes of four kids who may only have weeks to figure it out.
review 2: Tommy Wallach has written an unflinching, realistic portrayal of everyday teen life suddenly knocked off orbit by the impending arrival of an asteroid. Switching between the POV of the four main characters, he does a great job of fully fleshing each of them out. Add in some great side char
... moreacters (my favorite is Eliza's dad) and he's created a nice little world of characters waiting for the end (or not?) of our little world. Can't wait to see what Tommy writes next. I'll be reading it. less
