review 1: Yeah! Another great book for Librarians to read about Libraries!!! Sweet and gentle, rhyming text, girl of color. Doesn't hit you over the head with the message, in fact, we don't get to the library until the book is half done. We can use the theme of using the library/books to chase away negative feelings as a talking point. The illustrations support the transition. For example, the haunted house that somehow looks less intimidating after a trip to the library.Well done!
