review 1: The Scorned Take Revenge. The first book “Two Tears in a Bucket” had us falling in love with the main characters Simone and Kevin and the readers became invested in their love story and looked for it to continue in the sequel “Another Tear.” Instead, book two focused on Felicia and the extreme lengths she took to come between Simone and Kevin. Author Tracie Bee did an awesome job bringing to life what sometimes can happen when someone is in total denial and oh yeah, deranged! My gripes with this book are, the timeline was practically nonexistent and punctuation errors were evident in some areas and correct in other areas of the book. Knowing Felicia’s personality it didn’t fit that she would want to be bothered with a very needy newborn, the fact that she went th... moreere was one thing, but I’d have liked to have seen more of a frustration on her part as in “now I have it, what do I do with it?” “Another Tear” is a cool follow up to the first book and only solidifies that Ms. Bee’s pen game is not to be messed with. review 2: A Lot Of Tears Shed I like this book, but I loved part one. This one was not as good as the first. It did its job though I am looking forward to reading The Final Tear to see how she brings it back. I was not crazy about the focus of the book shifting to Felicia. I wanted more from the couple of the hour Kevin and Simone. With everything finally on track for the couple, wasn't looking for happily ever after but was looking for them to be the main focus.   With so many forces trying to stand in the way of Kevin's and Simone's happiness, this novel is filled with tons of mishaps. None bigger then than the delusional Felicia. This lewd woman for lack of curse words went from borderline crazy to she flew in the coo coo’s nest. She went through some life changes all in the name of love for Kevin. Something in her mind told her that Kevin felt the same. We all know Kevin has eyes for only Simone. They are building a life and Kevin is doing well in his song writing. The happy couple brings a son in the world and their lives are turned upside down when he is kidnapped from the hospital. Let the games begin, Felicia is front and center and she won’t be happy until she has man. Felicia’s antics were nerve wrecking. I was ready for the games to be over. I believe in love and wanted to see the love between Kevin and Simone. There were moments but they took a back seat to the shenanigans of Ms. Thing, Felicia. The ending was great but very unbelievable and the timeline didn't seem to support. It was hard to tell how old Simone's baby should have been and Kevin's best friend’s baby. Ready to see how this plays out hope the release of Final Tear is not far off. SiStar Tea ARC Book Club Inc 3.5 star rating April 2012 less
