review 1: I really enjoyed this book, lots of wonderful eye candy,as you get to see her own journal pages. It has great examples of Traci's process and techniques in easy to understand steps. It even comes with a free DVD showing how Traci does her own journal pages! It's like getting a free art journal lesson. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a beginner at art journaling, as well as anyone just looking for inspiration, or wanting to try a different style of art journaling..well worth the money, great value with the included DVD..
review 2: Bunkers, from Lawrence, truly combines journaling and the art journal concept. She actually writes, journals and then adds her type of messy art. My favorite, journaling about the not so good and then covering it up. No... moret to hide it or ignore it, but to get out the words and find a place to put them. A way to silence the critic. Purging the words and moving from there. A dvd with time-lapse video of about 4 pages. less
