review 1: This is the last book of The Brides of Gallatin County series and its features the youngest sister, Lacey. She is the ultimate tomboy who loves handling things on her own without the help of anyone else especially David Shephard. But Dave has a few tricks up his sleeve too when he finally gets her by herself at his parents ranch during a snowstorm. Good ole Davie rangles a promise of marriage out of Miss too big for her breaches and she is trying to figure out how to get out of it. This is definitely a series worth reading!!!
review 2: Lacy Gallatin, the youngest of the Gallatin sisters, has since the beginning been on a mission to find her father’s killer since book one. Dave Shepard, deputy sheriff for the area has also been trying to solve this crime, and ... morekeep Lacy safe from trouble. In book one and two it was so charming to follow their relationship and now in the third novel she agrees to marry him but immediately regrets saying “yes”. She feels inadequate to take on the role of wife being so unlike her sisters. The solving of the murder of George Gallatin in this book makes it more suspenseful than the previous two. It was sad to finish the series and I hope that Tracie Peterson will give us a visit back to Gallatin County. less
