Brides of Gallatin County
review 1: The Gallatin sisters, Gwen, Beth, and Lacy, run the roadhouse in the wilderness of Montana after the death of their father. The girls find themselves facing the lecherous saloon owner looking to purchase the roadhouse and an unexpected visitor - the brother of Gwen's husband who passed away due to measles. Gwen and her sister's discover that the man they knew may not be all that they thought he was. Will they be able to rough this season of trial? Or will they crumble?Tracie Peterson has written a wonderful novel on the tragedy's of life and how we as people react different in the situations that fill our lives. Highly enjoyed the mixture of romance, Faith, and historical fiction.
review 2: I really enjoyed reading this book about the three sisters but Gwen kin
... moreda annoyed me with the fact that she thought she was cursed the whole time. Yet she would act rude to others and be unhappy because they weren't Christians and she really didnt have a good relationship with God. Especially since she really believed in the fortune teller who told her that she was cursed. If she really had a good relationship with God she wouldn't believe in the nonsense of cursing. That kinda drived me crazy and I know that that might have been a bit confusing. But the book was good! less
