review 2: What can I say? I am a hopeless romantic. Another great read by Tracy Brogan. It's light, it's fun, it's enjoyable! Turmoil abounds, but I love that it doesn't last through the ENTIRE story. The characters actually get to have fun throughout most of it, but still deal with the crap that is slung their ... moreway. I loved the dynamic between Peter and his girls, especially Marty. As crazy as the old man was, he was also lovable and completely adorable. You couldn't help but fall for him and he wasn't even the main character. I also love the fact that Libby and Tom grew into their friendship and then into their relationship. It wasn't love at first sight. Libby even admits to thinking negative thoughts about Tom before they really started talking! They had a great chemistry, but didn't act on it until weeks into their acquaintance. less
