review 1: ** Might contain Spoilers**This is the story of Jared and Michael who are both in the military together. Tyler Robbins is a new author to me, and I picked up this book a while back. I have to say that the story grabbed me from the start.I liked that practically nothing was perfect for either character. Both had their own stories, and issues which came out as the story progressed. At times Jared came across as an ass, but I can see where he was coming from as certain things about his past were revealed. The sex scenes were plentiful and handled well. I hated Raul. He was the perfect villian. The ending was satisfying. That's important to me as a reader. I will definitely try another book from this author.
review 2: In the beginning, you feel a great deal for Micha
... moreel, but seriously want to smack the crap out of Jared. Given a little more time to understand where he’s coming from, your heart kind of breaks for him, despite his tendency to still act like an ass because he’s unable to handle his emotions and the conflicts he faces. They face a lot of adversity through their short time together. Between emotional baggage from their pasts, and the people that surround them in the present, their journey is not an easy one, though it is a beautiful one in its own way. Be prepared for a pretty emotional story; I worried, I laughed, and I cried. The ending is pretty fun though, making it all worth it!A powerful, gripping, and compelling tale, Beyond Honor is a wild ride on the roller coaster of emotion. It’ll have you up all night just to see how they work their way through their trials and tribulations to end up as happy as you ache to see them. less
