review 1: I tried. I really did. Numerous times over a month. BUT, I just couldn't make myself finish. This book is so full of swearing, bullying and mindless prattle that I felt like I was hitting myself in the head with a brick while reading it. UGH. I think my IQ dropped 10 points per page. Granted, I am not a teenager anymore, but I still enjoy ya fiction. This was like the movie Mean Girls or Clueless on steroids. I made it through the whole first book but couldn't finish the second. I just don't even care who Calypso ends up with. At all.language: vulgar, heat level: mild--at least as far as I read.
review 2: I absolutely adore this book! Im so excited to read the next one in the series!!!! It is filled with gossipy drama that is honestly so entertaining... more! And a sweet romance with a prince that every girl dreams of! I am not very big on reading but this really got me! It makes me laugh, angry, happy, and even a bit jealous of calypso! I recommend this book. Im even gifting it with the rest of my friend's birthday gift. Overall, it is a must read! less
