review 1: I loved the first book in this series and was impressed with the second. I have not read many duologies and liked that is was tightly wrapped up in book 2. Both books were action packed and nothing was wasted in the storytelling, nor was it drawn out. I thought the characters had great depth, the plot twists were awesome, and the new world building in this book was really cool. I also just love the humanization of the clone and the way Waters weaved it into such a touching and personal story. Great sci-fi romance.
review 2: This is the sequel to "Archetype." I enjoyed both books. They are easy and quick reads, but fun and exciting. I found "Archetype" to be more suspenseful and mysterious. In that one, you are following the main character as she pieces together... more who she is, what is real and who she can trust. The second book is action-packed, but more of a continuation of a mission and less the mystery of what the heck happened to this woman. If you read the first one, you'll want to finish up the story with "Prototype." less
