review 1: This is a charming rhyme about a mouse and his house atop the family Christmas Cake. It was written and illustrated by an unknown author in 1858. For a children’s tale it’s very short (about a mouse’s tail in length) so I won’t give any of the details away, but it’s brilliantly illustrated and (for Kindle) it’s free to take.Devlin
review 2: I've been looking for long-lost Christmas tales, and this one didn't disappoint. It's funny that a mouse would live in a cake! I hadn't heard anything like that before.
