review 1: I love the Psychic Eye series and have been looking forward to reading this book for some time. Unfortunately, I picked a time to begin when I didn't have a lot of free time to keep at it. This particular book uses a double time line style. Abby tells the story from the past tense, and MJ (from the Ghost Hunter series) tells it from the current time. Because I often couldn't read for several days between chapters, I found it difficult to follow. I spent a lot of time re-reading chapters to refresh my memory. That said, I've given it 4 stars, because I enjoyed the plot, enjoyed seeing the culmination of many of the story lines from past volumes, and I didn't figure out who the bad guy was until the reveal. I also enjoyed "meeting" MJ, and getting to know her a bit. It lost ... morethe 5th star however for the following reasons: Abby's constant "fake" swearing to avoid paying a fine is annoying as all get out. So are the cutesy names she uses for Dutch and Candice. Her sister Cat was much more interesting in the earlier books when she was smart, and not overblown crazy. Finally, there seems to be a serious lack of communication in this book between Abby and Dutch. I sincerely hope that is rectified in the future. Overall an interesting outing in the series. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for Abby.
review 2: This is one of the Psychic Eye Series of books. Returning is the entire cast of characters Abby, Dutch, Brice and Candice. This book offers a cross over with the Ghost Hunter series that Victoria Laurie also writes. MJ and Gilley are invited guests to Abby and Dutch's wedding. This the story of a bomber who targets women to his homemade bomb vests and the team need to solve this case as to why. This story had plenty of action with lots of twist and turns at every turn of the page. Will leave you wondering if Abby and Dutch make it down the aisle. less
