review 1: For the first chapter or so of this book, I had to force myself to keep reading. I was incredibly irritated by the whole "haunted possessions" television show idea & it just made me mad to continue to read it. But I stuck with it and I'm glad that I did because it took a surprising turn from the direction I had thought it was going. After reading it, I really did enjoy it. This is probably my favorite in the series so far.
review 2: 4 stars This is the #3 book in the Ghost Hunters Mystery series. I would recommend reading them in order but it is not absolutely necessary. This is a scarey cozy mystery. A really scarey cozy mystery. The whole series so far is well written. The writing flows and the plot is easy to not only follow but easy to get lost in. (I... more sat down to start this book and got up 3 hours later when I finished it) The characters are realistic and very likable. I could and would be good friends with the MC M. J. Holliday. Not only is she brave, loyal and honorable but she seems like she would be really fun to be around. This is the scariest book so far in the series. The bad spirit/ghost/demon is really,really evil. If you like to read cozy mysteries with an edge, paranormal or light horror (no gore) books then you really need to read this series.
