review 1: I've read the original book, loved the movie with Rudolph Valentino and I can say without a doubt Victoria Vane did a superb job retelling this story. I absolutely loved it. I've read countless books in the sheikh genre and I have to say this is my favorite of all time. It has everything I love from a good desert romance and then some. It was sizzling hot! Thanks Victoria. I'm hoping you take on The Sons of the Sheik next.
review 2: Oh my! What a wonderfully told story. Diana was such a strong character. After she decided to give into what was happening, and not look at it like she was a prisoner, she fell in love with not just the Sheikh, but the desert too. And the Shiekh *sigh* he was my kind of hero - dark, brooding and dominate with a hidden softness tha... moret only comes out with his woman. The epilogue was just perfect, and I'm not going to say anything else about it so I don't ruin it for you :) less
