review 2: YA books about dystopian futures are all the rage now. This book is no exception. In a future where child birth rates have dropped to the point where even adoption isn't possible, one mega-corp has the solution. Expiration Day walks us through the life of a girl growing... more to adulthood surrounded by prejudice and judgement but also by love. While you always had the sense that things would work out for our protagonist in the end, the way Powell gets us there is interesting and leaves this novel at a perpendicular angle to where it started.I give this book a B+. less
