review 1: Briefly, the main character is Peyton Stone, who has finally recovered from a traumatic personal loss in his life and is now working for the CIA. His handler there is Harry Morrison (strange that his surname is very rarely mentioned as are the other characters). If you like thrillers involved with Middle Eastern nations, China and the Oval Office thrown it, this will be just up your street. I loved this book from the first page to the end. It is fast moving, extremely well-written and the attention to detail is remarkable. The author also so sympathetically portrays the fair sex. I guess being a woman it’s rather touching to see a real “macho” man who can relate so well to women and just be, well, appreciative of them.I really didn’t want to put it down as I was en... morejoying it so much and reluctantly finished it. I see that there is a sequel coming out in 2013 and I cannot wait to buy it. Thank you Mr. Sewell for writing this and giving so much pleasure!
review 2: This is a really good story by an obviously very knowledgable author. However, I must caution you. Unless you like having to re-read many sentences to make sense of them, you will be as frustrated as I was. Many mispelled words, many sentences with extra words, and many with missing words. An occasional mispelled or out-of-place word is acceptable. This was just too much. Not sure I want to bother with the sequel. less
