review 1: Somehow, this book really spoke to me. I love record stores and I believe that the physical aspect of owning a piece of music triumphs over downloading a digital file. It gives a sense of ownership that can only be felt by having an extensive LP or CD collection. It's a shame that stores like Bob & Bob's are a dying breed and may soon cease to exist. ... moret as pretentious as it is enlightening, and most of the rest of what she goes through in the course of the book is pretty mundane. This is a reasonably enjoyable slice of life YA novel with a main character I liked but couldn't love despite being predisposed to adore. less
