review 1: I fell in love with Ben and Rafe. The story was so well fleshed out that there is nothing that I could find fault with. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I guarantee that it will not be my last time reading ZAM! As you can see I don't like to give away too much as we all seriously need to make our own decisions on what it is we like. When I read a review I don't need to be "retold" the blurb of the bloody book. Did you like it? I did!
review 2: I always hesitate to read M/M books set in the past, in this case 1955. It's painful to read about the extreme prejudice against gays, and the things gay couples had to do to hide their relationship.
