review 1: I fell in love with Ben and Rafe. The story was so well fleshed out that there is nothing that I could find fault with. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I guarantee that it will not be my last time reading ZAM! As you can see I don't like to give away too much as we all seriously need to make our own decisions on what it is we like. When I read a review I don't need to be "retold" the blurb of the bloody book. Did you like it? I did!
review 2: I always hesitate to read M/M books set in the past, in this case 1955. It's painful to read about the extreme prejudice against gays, and the things gay couples had to do to hide their relationship. This was a sweet story, and I loved how this couple achieved the intimacy, trust and emotional support that heter... moreo couples take for granted. It did end a bit abruptly, and there was no epilogue to see how it all turned out in the end, but it was still satisfying. less
