Synopsis: This is a book I wrote. Because I wrote it, I had to figure out what to put on the back cover to explain what it is. I tried to write a long, third-person summary that would imply how great the book is and also sound vaguely authoritative–like maybe someone who isn’t me wrote it–but I soon discovered that I’m not sneaky enough to pull it off convincingly. So I decided to just make a list of things that are in the book:

Pictures
Words
Stories about things that happened to me
Stories about things that happened to other people because of me
Eight billion dollars*
Stories about dogs
The secret to eternal happiness*

*These are lies. Perhaps I have underestimated my sneakiness!

Finished: November 2nd, 2017. My Rating: ★★★★★. [5/5] My Review: [Under the read more - SPOILER FREE]

So, guys, I can’t tell you how happy I am that I finished another book so soon at all, let alone in less than a week. And honestly, I could have finished this much sooner, had I not been deliberately saving it to make it last, since it was so funny.

GOD those depression chapters were SPOT ON.

I actually dramatically narrated over half of this book to my family at dinner time, cause that shit was too good.

I don’t have it marked as a favorite because there were some points that were very confusing and unclear – When did Allie get a sister?? When did she move out? Why was that not chapter worthy? Is Duncan her husband? When did she adopt Simple Dog and Helper Dog? – and, Allie herself is not generally likable to me. There are several aspects of her that I understand and can connect with, but there are other parts that are active personality turn offs.

Seriously though, the fact that she states it in such a FUCKING HILARIOUS way, and literally everything else about the book, keeps it at 5 stars. It just doesn’t get to be a favorite. Oh well. Those are really my only criticisms.

I don’t even know what else to say, really. Those were the only thoughts I had that were worth remembering.

Holy millennial humor, Batman.

THOSE DEPRESSION CHAPTERS THO
