review 1: Two short stories later and I am now officially in love with Zathyn Priest. Guess, that's really not a review of this book, huh? Ok, quick summary. Brandon is an asshat whose sole ambition in life seems to be hooking up and getting off. He is good looking and boy does he know it. He is obviously heading for a fall, and even though his fall is aided, you can't helping feeling that he really deserved it - while at the same time you are still rooting for the asshat, so weird. In spite of this story only being 47 pages long it packs quite a punch and you have great charactergrowth and a relationship that moves in all directions. 4.5-5 stars. A highly recommended read
review 2: This is only my 2nd book by Zathyn Priest but I can tell you already...he is has some of t
... morehe most interesting & unusual characters around. And that means they'll stick with me longer than most do.For novella length we get a lot more story than you'd think and of course it was fabulous! Brandon's character develops/changes so much from page 1 to the end of the story, Enigma for sure has EVERYTHING to do with that. Enigma was definitely just that...and by the end of the story we find out why. I hope to read more from this author in the future! less

3 1/2 stars--a cute, if slightly confusing short with a very satisfying ending.
