review 1: I'm a sucker for a cover and this one really caught my eye, in fact, if memory serves I think it was my first kindle download. One of the main threads in the story touched me deeply and I really enjoyed the twists and turns Rachel and Laurie had to endure in the run up to enjoying their seemingly impossible to reach happy Christmas! The contrasting settings of London and Yorkshire were the perfect backdrop for this festive tale.
review 2: Eine schöne Geschichte, die hauptsächlich zur Vorweihnachtszeit in London und in einem kleinen englischen Dorf spielt. Laurie und Rachel waren mir anfangs beide noch fremd, jedoch sind sie mir im Laufe der Handlung mehr und mehr ans Herz gewachsen. Meine Lieblingsfiguren waren aber Karibin Lily und der Hauskater. :-D Wer ein... moree schöne, heimelige Lektüre zum Thema Familenzusammenhalt und Freundschaft sucht, sollte sich das Buch vielleicht für's nächste Weihnachtsfest vormerken. Natürlich kommt zum Fest der Liebe auch die Romantik nicht zu kurz. less
