review 1: I've just finished reading this book, its really good. I love the characters, and the plot, there were a few things I didnt like, and that was to do with the plot of the character Autumn. I dont want to give anything away to readers who haven't read it yet, but to those who have do you agree? Another issue ive have is the merging of the two heroine books, it worked well incertain places of the book, but not in others. Overall this was a good book to read, it will be interesting to see where Gibbs decides to go with the heroine storyline. I do reccomend reading this book.
review 2: I loved the dark heroine dinner with a vampire so I was obviously excited for the next book to come out. I have just put down this book and I did really enjoy it. I loved the whole st... moreory. I do have a minor mixed opinion on it though.I loved the whole concept of finding out about autumn rose as you do hear her mentioned in the end of the first book. So I did want to find out about her and how she came to be the first heroine and also what the sages were like and what there gifts were. I loved the love story between fallon and autumn. It was a much sweeter and boy/girl next door kind of love. I found myself smiling at the process of there love. I will admit I much preferred violet and kaspars relationship the whole bad boy vampire and innocent girl was much more of a thrilling love story, but I did enjoy reading autumn and fallons story in a different way.I knew that there wouldn't be much about violet and kaspar In this book so I didn't expect a lot of things to be said about them although I would have loved that! I did think at the end of this story that violet and kaspar relationship didn't seem as strong as what I thought in the dark heroine. I thought from this book that there relationship was still based on there love although sometimes it seemed that somethig was goin between them.I loved the whole idea of how the first heroine came to be and I also found that after reading this I understood the pack between the Pierre slayers and violets father. Also another bad guy was added to the mix which was good.I did truly enjoy this book apart from a few mixed feelings on subjects I have mentioned. I think it's a good book to follow up the first one and I truly can't wait for the next instalment. I can't wait to find out about the next human heroine and the dangers they all face unravelling! less
