review 1: I was honored with the opportunity to read Adam’s book before it goes to publication. It’s an absolutely heartbreaking novel that is full of unforgettable emotional twists. Aaron is a sixteen year old growing up in the Bronx. He’s struggling, but he’s also pretty happy with his crazy friends and his creative and attentive girlfriend. When he meets Thomas everything changes. And yet, everything is always as it was. Enormously complex and full of honesty, More Happy Than Not is going to take the YA scene by storm. I can’t wait for the world to read it.
review 2: MORE HAPPY THAN NOT was an incredible read. It's the kind of book you're still thinking about months after reading. The voice is spot-on and so unlike other voices in the YA world today. Silvera
... more has an eye for detail and setting that you don't often find. The characterization will pull you in, but the way in which the story unfolds will keep you reading into the night. Adam Silvera is an author you’ll want on your radar. less
