review 1: I would probably give this 2 1/2 stars. I finished the book, but never really got into it - the characters, the plot, the mystery of who killed Rudy... I guess I kept picturing the Al Roker as the main character, Billy Blessing, which threw me off throughout the book since Billy is supposed to be a cool, handsome, rich, witty guy, and I could never see it. I also had a hard time of Billy trying to solve the murder by throwing himself in harm's way multiple times and was so intelligent that he was the only one that could see through the murderer's lies and then solved the mystery. I won't be reading another by Al Roker...
review 2: Good one--very cute actually and well written--much better than I had thought it would be. I really liked the main character Bill
... morey Blessing. He is a successful chef and has a sense of humor as well as a sense of fun, plus he's intelligent enough to figure out the solution to a fairly complicated political crime spree. Some of the Middle East-related politics got a little confusing for me, but most of the book was more down home and personal, including bits of what it's like to be on a morning show. I will definitely read more in this series. less

Slightly entertaining. A little too much like Scooby-Doo for my taste! :)
