review 1: This one gets a five because of the perfect pacing. The self-discovery arc and the relationship arc were absolutely credible. I really liked how friendship grew between the two MCs which led into a fuller sexual relationship. I also liked how Tyler's concerns were addressed about having a new relationship after his happy longterm relationship ended in widowhood. This was a credible and sweet story.
review 2: 3,5*I think the author handled Tyler's struggles and the way to accept his attraction to men and his felt infidelity to his dead wife extremely well. The story was really worth reading it just because of that. So why no higher rating? Because I felt like the relationship between Tyler and George was "just" being very good friend who comfort each other wit... moreh the added sex. Don't know why, regarding all the raving reviews I'm one of the few who seem to think so, but I had the feeling that either the story ended to early and maybe the romance was just evolving or other option, as soon as Tyler would feel confident with his "new" self and found someone whom he could really fall in love with he'd move on from George. less
