Capucine Culinary Mysteries
review 1: This has everything I like in a mystery--food, a foreign setting, and a smart lady cop! Capucine is trying to find the murder of a food critic, which takes place in a restaurant as he is researching his review. When another restaurant critic is murdered in a restaurant, she sees a pattern beginning, which is hitting too close to home since her beloved husband, Alexandre, is also a famous food journalist. There are lots of interesting characters here and the Paris restaurant scene setting is always fun.
review 2: This is the first time I've read a Capucine Culinary Mystery, and I'm hooked.Several food critics have been murdered in the city and Commissaire Le Tellier fears that her food critic husband, Alexandre, is next. ,Set in Paris, filled with French express
... moreions, amazing culinary descriptions and excellent writing made this one of the more enjoyable books I have read lately. I'm off to get the first in the series (this was the 3rd). less
