review 1: ARGH SCARY. I loved reading it though. At times the writing was APPALLING and it also really got on my tit that Tyler's surname was occasionally Bradford instead of Mountford but that's not Sokoloff's fault. Would def read her stuff again. I also especially liked the Myers-Briggs references, I would have liked more of that. Also a pretty good sex scene even though it was all hetero. Like it wasn't *great* but it is hard to write a sexy sex scene and Sokoloff totes did that.
review 2: Guilty pleasure for me. Not great literature, but enjoyable light reading for anyone who enjoys paranormal stories that aren't over the top or filled with gore. Slightly better written than your standard paperback spook story, it manages not to insult the intelligence of the reader
... more. Throw it in your bag for a beach read or better yet, curl up in a chair on an overcast day and read it in one sitting. less

I read it because I thought it was a ghost story about group hysteria. It wasn't ,

I really enjoy the way she writes the pages just flow! But the ending...

Creepy but not horrifying. I wanted more resolution at the end.
