review 1: Gavin is a 24 year old, very out gay man, in a dead end job. He is from the poor side of town and lives in a little run down trailer with his mother, a waitress at the Cup. His "sperm donor" was an abusive a$$h@le that still threatens him and his mother from time to time. Jace is a 19 year old college student. The son of a police officer. He is from a wholesome middle class family and has lead a good life. He is very much in the closet. He is scared to come out to his parents and sisters. Gavin and Jace meet at the Cup at Thanksgiving, when Gavin spills Cranberry sauce all over Jace's shirt. Gavin invites Jace to a party and they hit it off. Gavin doesn't hear from Jace once he goes back to school. During Winter break they run into each other again. They start spending tim... moree together and eventually enter into a relationship. Will Jace be able to keep Gavin, and keep all his secrets as well? I think this was my favorite book of this series so far. I absolutely loved these boys together. The were hot, and had excellent chemistry. Gavin was so good to Jace. He knew when to push him and when to step back and let him be. Even though the "L" word is never used in this book between the characters. The love shines through on the pages of this book. I definitely would love to see more of Gavin and Jace in the future. I hope get get another book or at least a novella! Hint hint!!! ;)
review 2: Yeah, go ahead and laugh, Andrea. :POkay, i really liked this addition to the series, even though it veers off into the territory of very young new adult college age, which is not an age group i usually read, and is not in keeping with the rest of the series. Overall though, it was good, well paced, good characters.One thing: Please authors, please, for the love of all that is holy, abolish the phrase "twin bond" from your vocabulary. I know it's not ever going to happen, but this twin can only wish. less
