review 1: I have always loved a good shifter, or vampire story if they are done well, and Amber Kell certainly knows what she is doing! I love this book, and I am thrilled to tell you it is book one of a series, so we will be seeing plenty more of sweet, ambitious Randy, and sexy Sasha, who is too smoking for words! You have it all in this book, sexy vampires, a werewolf that you will adore on sight, and even a who done it with a resolution that will leave you slack jawed! Don't miss this one people, or the sequel, Samhain's Kiss, which I will be reviewing soon! Thanks Amber, for giving us a story we can read again and again!
review 2: Plot-wise it's very good and interesting but the execution leaves something to be desired. The romance is incredibly rushed, the backgrou... morend is almost non-existent as well as the world-building and the characters are still basically complete strangers even after reading this book 'till the end. The HEA wasn't very good either. Kind of downplayed and slightly dull. I was sufficiently entertained tho. less
