review 1: I was amazed by this book!!! Amy Christine Parker made a thrilling sequel to Gated and I'm at a loss of words!!! I love this book. I grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, not of my own will and experienced many bad things. Reading this book plus Gated actually gave me a little clarity as well as healing. I'm not here to condemn the Seventh Day Adventist Church. I can only speak for my experiences and what I went through. Amy thank you for writing these novels. I enjoyed them, some of it did scare me but I know the world sometimes is not a kind place and maybe your writings can open up a few peoples minds allowing them to think for themselves. Thank You. You have gained a fan in me!!! Brian
review 2: Holy freakout. This book completely outdid GATED, whic... moreh I thought was amazing. There is so much about this book that I loved. Lila was a strong and independent thinker in book one but in this book, everything she believes is put to the test like never before. Pioneer and the Community were even creeper than in the first book. By the end of the book, my heart was racing as I was flipping through the pages until the very end. And what a satisfying and rich ending too. Such a fantastic read that even now days after I finished it, the story still tugs at me. less
