review 1: I enjoyed this novel. I liked the format of having the story told by 3 characters. I would have to agree with other reviewers who compared this author's writing style to Jodi Picoult's, but then I like Picoult's novels. The only reason that I didn't give this book more stars is that I had trouble believing that Olivia would be upset with Hannah for with-holding the truth; when it was Hannah's choice that saved Maddie's life.
review 2: Recommended to me by my sister, who shares good tastes in books. The relationship of these characters is realistic, emotional, and entertaining. This novel reminded me of the early works by Jodi Picoult and Diane Chamberlain. The strong unravels page by page making these characters feel more and more like real people. Recommend to
... more those who enjoy dramatic fiction. Will be reading more by this author! less
