review 1: This manuscript must have made the editors weep. At all the SCBWI writing conferences and retreats I've attended, the agents and editors all plead for short, short, 500 words or less manuscripts for picture books...to the extent that many won't look at anything longer.I'm not sure what this book clocks in at word wise...but it's short, simple, sweet. So much so, that I dropped it a star for lack of meat. I think with so few words, albeit a big message, the pacing was too fast and the book was over much too quickly. Even though the illustrations are cute, adorable even, the pacing could have been slowed if the illos were more detailed and luxurious to keep the reader on the page.
review 2: Most charming book ever! The rhyming text appears in a bold, hand-written
... more font, and the darling illustrations are adorned with fabulous glittery accents. As Little Miss sets out to plant a kiss to share with everyone, even the doubters and the naysayers, the reader revels in the sweet story about the value of dreams, patience, and spreading kindness. May I add that the sparkly glitter doesn't hurt either? For all ages, this book truly is delightful! less

Plant a kiss and wait to see what happens. That's just what little miss does.
