review 1: I finally found a sex book that made me feel weird.Angel sex. Angel sex is a big no-no in my book. What can I do? Leave faith and God out of orgies,ok?And here we have...two male angels.So,omg,I have no idea how to say this...but it really bothered me that they are gay! Love your fellow man? Yes! Do not condemn homosexual partners? Yes! Like gay books? Yes,yes, I do! Very much!But gay angels? It's just pushing it. Sorry.Oh and the vampire having a...well... sex life while he 'loved' his partners? It was kind of like cheating.I don't know! It just left a bad taste in my mouth.
review 2: Amy Lane has used this short novella two fold. One is for her Little Goddess followers. For them we get glimpses into that storyline which her fans crave. We see our Adrian three... more books past his death. We still mourn him as well as do our Cory, Green and Bracken. We are also charmed by a whimsical loving story of the Angels in Gods heaven who watch over Adrian. Amy Lane the author who paints fantasy in lands mystical has painted this charming story of Jefischua and Sheppard. Sometimes reading Ms Lanes stories, the pain and the angst of characters tend to keep a tissue box near. But here we, also see in her writing her keen sense of humor that shines so brightly. Hence the prologue to this story: A BRIEF WINDOW INTO THE GREAT QUARREL .I found that to be one of the funniest laugh out loud pieces I have read in a long time. And soooo this is how Adrian, Cory’s and Greens Vampire Lover, entered Heaven.Jefi and Shep are two angels given the ‘job’ by God to guard Adrian. They are two angel partners, who after spending time and talking with Adrian start to discover things about themselves both alone and together. Who they are and what they believe was a perfect life in heaven starts to change as they talk with Adrian. Now the stories about Angels Falling do not seem as frightening as they once did . They start to discover their feelings for each other once they view feelings, love and trust through what Adrian and his lovers lost down on earth.Again Ms Lane another wonderful novella. I truly hope this short story could be added to one of your Little Goddess Books as a Sequel, Prequel or anything you would call it.
