review 1: I kind of liked this book. It started out really strong and I was completely into it. Then Anderson made it to the space station. It was different but still very good. And then it went off the tracks and wasn't make a whole lot of sense. People were doing things and I wasn't sure why, other people were reacting to things in crazy over-dramatic ways when there was no reason for it. I kept thinking they were way too angst-filled and emotional than was reasonable for the situation. I struggled from that point on because that was the theme for the rest of the book.
review 2: Amy Lane, Queen of Angst, does it again! This one didn't break me as badly as Keeping Promise Rock and Chase in Shadows, but it was a nice, emotional, cathartic read. And the ending is ... moreso beautifully hopeful. Also, Anderson, when he comes into his own, is the kind of alpha top I love- he knows what he wants and how he wants it, particularly in the bedroom, but he isn't a complete dick the rest of the time. He's actually pretty sweet, and it's a wonderful dichotomy. less
