review 1: A heartwarming story with only a smidgen of angst. This book takes us on a journey and we get to experience the highs and lows of Casey and Joe's lives together. It's a slow burner and oh, how it burned beautifully. What I loved about this is all the people around Casey and Joe. Amy Lane does this kind of thing well; where the story is more than just about the couple as their friends and family play real and significant roles in the story.I also liked the book acknowledged the age difference between the couple. This was an age-gap story done well. I left this book with a smile on my face.
review 2: I can not believe that I have put this book off for so long. I think it was the cover, I am just not a fan, but I love love loved the story. I was drawn in from the ve
... morery first page and could not put it down. If i wouldn't have had to sleep (and run the house and take care of the child) I would have read straight through. I loved Casey and Joe and was really shocked that they were able to hold off as long as they did. I also really loved the ending. *sigh* just beautiful! less
