review 1: I read a lot of YA and enjoy it, but sometimes reading YA as an adult makes you feel too old for the book, which was the case with this one for me. But overall, I still enjoyed the story of Vivian, who has a special gift that she is now learning to use. It affects her friendship with her best friend and life at school. And someone comes after her that killed her mom.I really liked the characters though, I just had a hard time connecting.
review 2: This one was one of these books that catch you from the first sentence and doesn‘t let go. It was as easy to read it as to breathe. I eagerly turned pages and haven‘t noticed how I read most of the story. I loved it how Vivian told her story. It was so fun and made me smile. It was like close friend telling you
... more their story. And I loved Easton. He seems such a perfect guy. It‘s almost hard to believe he is real, but yet here he is.I enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and sad, intense and real. In the end I‘m left with secrets I want to be revealed and questions about how the story goes on and what happens next. I would love to read sequels.I was given this book in exchange for honest review (David Estes Fans and YA Book Lovers Unite! group and the author). less
