review 1: My friend won this book from a giveaway and has yet to read it. Being the good friend/sort-of sister-in-law that I am, I decided to read it first. I am always willing to read a new book, no matter the genre, and after reading the synopsis I figured it would be something I would enjoy. I was very impressed by this story. Patrick is a very broken hero. I loved his vulnerability during his sessions with Dr. Ready. I also loved Patrick's relationship with Bullet. I am so glad that I decided to read this book because it kept me guessing. Every time a question was answered ten more questions arose. I finished the book in a day and a half. It was easy to get caught up in everything that was happening. I finished the book feeling incredibly satisfied. Great ... moreread!
review 2: The start of the book grabbed my attention and then slowly lost it. The book began to get a little boring with unneed info. There were parts that grabbed me and made it worth the read but for the time it took me, I would have like a little more action. The ending was amazing though it took until the last 30 pages or so for me to really get excited. The plot was very good but maybe without so much filler could have been so much better. I wish we would have seen a little more into the final relationship between the two characters at the end, but it was still very well written. If you've got the time, you should check out this novel! less
