review 1: This 2nd book by Andrew Grant is also the 2nd in the "David Trevellyan" saga. A.G. is the bvrother of famous novelist Lee Child. Although not quite yet up to L.C.'s standards; I believe he can deliver the goods and get real close. Give him time. Lt.Cdr. David Trevellyan of British Naval intelligence picks up where he left off in A.G.'s first novel "Even". He has been sent to Chicago from New York where he left a mess of dead bodies.D.T. is a macho character with a Brit sense of humor. He reminds me a lot of Vince Flynn's "Mitch Rapp". The body count is high and both have no compunction about killing if that is what is required to get the job done. Written in the first person you are right in the middle of the action. More is revealed of Trevellyan's character and while we d... moreon't know as much about him yet as brother Lee's "Jack Reacher" we're getting there. This is a believable fast paced suspense thriller of the first degree.Fans of the "spy" genre will not be disappointed.
review 2: Hmmm. Reacher he 'aint. Child he 'aint either. I was not going to read this sequel as I had mixed feeling about the first Trevellyan book, but I had got it out of the library and it seemed churlish not to. It was pretty obvious who the bad guy was from about half way through. I hope this was intentional as if not, then I'm not that clever and there was practically a fog horn blaring in the book that could not be missed. So Mr Grant. Brother Child does it better. Sorry, but he does. I'm looking forward to The Affair. Worth Dying For is number 1 in the paperbacks - that's a lot of books Mr Child. Well done. Mr Grant take note and improve. less

It has no flow, and I'm not a fan of books told in first person. All in all not worth your time.
