review 1: Dirk and Lee are finally getting some down time. Their first vacation together is just what the two firefighters need after all the drama at the fire house. Unfortunately Dirk's homophobic father just happens to be on the cruise as well which adds tension and brings out Dirk's inner asshole.Again I have to say that Lee is a saint, he not only brings Dirk out of his funk cause by a fire that didn't quite go as they would have hoped but he also helps Dirk deal with his father and the drama that that relationship brings. This was a nice ending to Dirk and Lee's story and showed how much each character had grown over the three book arc, especially Dirk. The only thing that was missing was tying up the story line about which fire house would stay open, other than that this was a... more great trilogy if you are looking for a quick read about some scorching hot firemen!
review 2: This is the third and final book in the series. It could have benefited from about more excitement in the plot however provided a satisfactory ending to the story of Lee and Dirk. The setting is a cruise boat (the description of the cruise is exactly like the cruises I have been on!) and is a sweet romance. The plot centers on Dirk's relationship with his father rather than any issues between him and Lee and had a nice HEA ending. less
