review 1: It took me a little while to get into the story, Brad seemed a little too young and clueless for me and some of the prose was a bit like a screenplay, but as the story wound on, I was, as usual with Andrew Grey's stories, pulled right in.Both Cory and Brad's romance, with its inevitable bumps and a major trauma episode, and the ending with Adam were as expected, giving a nice warm feeling at the end of the book.
review 2: 3.5I can either love this author or be kind of ehhh on a few of his things. This one was ehhh for me. I didn't really care about the MCs for a long time. It took me a long time to finish it too, and its not long. There just wasn't a punch for me. It got better but the first half was too slow with nothing that compelled me to care about th... moree MCs too much. I kept feeling like "wait, which one is he? The only child or the doctor...wait the only child isn't the doctor right? Oh yea, the one with the kid stuff..." I can't even say why for sure.Others liked it more than me, but he still an auto buy for me. :) less
