review 1: I love this book! When I heard that the Arthur Conan Doyle Estate was bringing a teen Sherlock Holmes mystery series, I immediately wanted to read it. This book is exactly what I thought it would be. It takes Sherlock Holmes point of view from his teenage years and his first mysteries ever and where he learned all of his detective skills. I would recommend this series to anybody who loves Sherlock Holmes mysteries.
review 2: I am a massive fan of the Sherlock Holmes books so when I came across this I thought id give this a try and I really enjoyed it as the title suggests Sherlock Holmes is young at the age 14. When his father is sent out to war and his mother becomes ill Sherlock's brother decides to sent him to live with his uncle, his fathers brother over th... moree summer holiday whom has fallen out with his father and his wife seemingly mentally ill. While there some strange things start happening and Sherlock seems to always be there in the mist of trouble so decides to find out what is going on around him. less
