review 1: Any author that can genuinely transport me to a different space is a success, and this book did do that. The short, rapid chapters made it easy to pick up the book and jump back into the action. I felt that some of the political scenes, while probably a necessity, did kill the momentum and I found myself glossing over them - even though the dialogue was spicy. I was disappointed in the ending; many other and more engaging ones were possible. I felt as if I was reading another Jack Reacher novel for a while, especially when our hero seems to just have one more little reserve of energy, strength, or anger hidden away. Overall - cool little story, though.
review 2: As a massive Nick Stone lover! I thought I could not go to much wrong with Andy McNabb latestCreat
... moreion Tom Buckingham. With Stone, it's raw and unforgiving, where as Buckingham, just seems too false! Still enjoyed the last 40% , but wanted more! Still debating if I should read the next instalment! But as my love for Andy McNabb's work is so high,I'll probably buy it anyway! 3 stars! And the Stone novals u gave 4 & 5 stars. less

Nothing special. A no-brainer really, just an easy read action novel. Nothing more, nothing less.
