review 1: 3/ 5After reading Jane Austen 's Pride and Prejudice and considering that this is a follow up story and as I wanted more of P&P I started reading Miss Darcy's diary.. Georgians Darcy's dairy is a pleasant read. Of course you can't compare the author with Jane Austen that would be unfair. Any one writing a follow-up story of Pride and Prejudice is itself a brave step. I like the plot but felt that it is just without any story. And if you read the introduction you know what is going to be the end.But it was good, not much to story just little and nice. Miss Darcy's search for her love.
review 2: It's a hard job to take on Jane Austen's famous characters and some attempts have fallen flat. Elliott takes a closer look at Mr. Darcy's sister Georgiana, and does the
... moreoriginal "Pride and Prejudice" credit. The story is told in diary style, and takes place a year after the marriage of Elizabeth and Darcy. Lady Catherine de Bourgh is parading suitors through Pemberley for Georgiana, but her niece has other ideas. I'd be willing to read this author's other books in this series--it's always fun to revisit the Bennett family. less
