review 1: Yep! Not fond of this author at all. I tried to read this book at least 4 times and then just so I could finish it I started to skim through many, many, many pages and chapters just to get to the real point. So many worthless words were written (tongue twister lol) that I couldn't keep up with the storyline. I truly didn't feel any real romance between them and didn't she basically become his mistress at one point...so much for a heroine...YIKES!
review 2: Toller Regency-Roman mit vielleicht nicht immer 100%ig historisch authentischen Verhaltensweisen, der aber viel Spaß bringt beim Lesen und viele witziger, erotische Wortgefechte. Nach einem ersten Treffen mit einem ungewöhnlichen Mann in der Buchhandlung, in der Miranda für ihren Onkel arbeitet, knistert e... mores zwischen ihr und dem Fremden und es kommt schließlich sogar dazu, dass er sie einstellt für ihn zu arbeiten, seine Bibliothek zu ordnen.Die Wortgefechte sind einfach herrlich und die Handlung ist auch erfrischend. Das Ende wird vielleicht ein klein wenig schnell erzählt. 4.5 Sterne less
