review 1: rating: 2.5, could be rounded up to 3....i dunno. this was my least favorite work from anyta sunday so far but i still enjoyed reading it. let me tell you why. however, please know that this may contain spoilers but i will try to be vague and not give anything away.what i liked:- the backstories: they are sad, they are painful but it was not too dramatic, making it realistic- anyta sunday knows how to make believable/not cringe-worthy break-ups. i amazed at how she can make me read stuff that i am so much hesitant reading about (couples breaking up because they found someone else), and make me like it and push through with finishing it. this book is not an exception- i loved shane's music and his wall of cds- i liked trey's movie reviews and his sensitivity- how the fear o... moref falling in love with a person who's hiv + was handled- how the fear of falling in love was describedwhat i didn't like/could've made it better:- i've read 5 of anyta's books (and i can't wait to read more) and i noticed that the sex scenes in all of these works are kinda written similarly.- i dunno why, but this dragged a bit for me, too. maybe because there's too much introspection, or it became too sappy and generic for me, i am not really sure. - i would've loved a bit more bantering, or some inside jokes.- i would've liked more june, or more trey.- maybe if this was written in different perspectives (for further elaboration/so that i can get a feel of the other characters) i would have liked this more.
review 2: Cute story about first love. And that's just it, not first and forever love, just first love. It was hard for me to relate to the two main characters, to believe in their feelings. And I like to know in my heart, or at least hope, that at the end of any book the main characters are it for life, that that's their happily ever after. I didn't have that feeling at the end of this book, it just feels like their love is not enough, like it was just a rehearsal before they meet their own soulmates. But, on the other hand, who knows... less

It was cute, wish it was a little longer but overall a decent read.

I loved the M/C. Both Shane and Trey were fantastic.
