review 1: I have really enjoyed reading this book. Eric and Rory both had issues that prevented them from moving on. Both feared that if they let go of the past it would leave them alone in the world. It was a barrier that they both had to overcome, but overcome it they did. I am very much hoping that Anyta will write some more about the lives of the characters in this series. In my opinion they deserve to be expanded on and brought back to be enjoyed once again.I can thoroughly recommend these books
review 2: I picked this up for free and hadnt read stories 1-3, but really quite enjoyed this story. I didnt feel that I had to have read the other stories but whether some questions about Rory's past would have been answered by an earlier book. Rory and Eric have met before
... more, in less than stellar circumstances. When they meet again in Wellington, Rory is still dealing with issues stemming from the death of a friend and his growing awareness that he may be gay. Eric is dealing with the aftermath of the death of his grandfather and the realisation that he is all alone now.Rory is very skittish as he develops a relationship with Eric, from acquaintances, to friends and beyond. I liked that Rory and Eric's story took time to develop, and I enjoyed the banter of finding Rory's middle name. An enjoyable read, it moved along quite well with lots of miscommunication and angsty situations. less
