review 1: This is one of the cutest books about cats vs. bugs (aliens) I have ever seen.The colours are muted but that leaves tons of room to be filled with Binky's (our cat protagonist)thoughts and actions.In this volume, Binky falls out of a window while tracking down an alien (moth) in his space station (house). Next thing he knows, he is in outer space (the back yard)! And it's FULL of aliens! What will happen to Binky? Will he make it back to the station before he runs out of air? Read this charming space exploration adventure to find out!
review 2: I didn't like Binky to the Rescue as much as the first Binky book. The first was just so fresh and lovely... I think I remember liking the graphic design of the firs tone better- I'm not a big fan of the staggered frame... mores with the all caps tex tin boxes- it just seems too abrupt somehow. In any case, Binky is still fun as a pretty soft, light graphic novel. the physical humor is still there, even if the story feels a bit forced rather than completely spontaneous. less
